BIP Scorecard is a specialised property investment program that makes it as easy as possible to enter basic details of investment properties and to compare these properties using financial criteria. You will be able to confidently choose an investment property based on its score.

With BIP Scorecard you can enter the variables involved in a property investment and combine all of these variables into one simple number. The final score takes into account the property price, rental income, cash expenses and non cash expenses such as asset depreciation, borrowing expenses and amortisation of construction costs. You will be able to use this score to compare one investment property with others and to identify suitable properties to add to your investment as well as unsuitable properties that you shouldn't invest in. Double click the Setup.exe file to install the software. Click the Windows Start button > Programs > Brightspark > BIP Scorecard. This section is only for customers that have already purchased Property Investor on CD and that wish to download a smaller file to trial the BIP Scorecard software. Important: Owners of the Property Investor on CD (ie where BIP Scorecard is not included) can use this smaller download to trial the BIP Scorecard. The downloaded program will not work unless Property Investor is installed. If Property Investor is not installed you will need to use the larger download above (which includes the BIP Scorecard).
Download the file 'bipscorecard.zip' to your Desktop. Unzip the program using a utility such as Winzip®. Click on the Extract button in Winzip ® to copy the files to the appropriate folders. Extract the files to C:\Program Files\Brightspark\BIPScorecard. If the files are not copied automatically to the correct folders you can manually copy BIPScorecard.exe and BIPScorecardTemplate.xls (Microsoft ® Excel file) to C:\Program Files\Brightspark\BIPScorecard and copy all other files to C:\Program Files\Brightspark\BIPScorecard\Help
