GST SmartBook is a simplified bookkeeping package that can produce your Business Activity Statement and other accounting reports for any period at the click of a button. The reports are always live and update automatically for any new or modified transactions.
With GST SmartBook you can enter cash transactions quickly and easily with the SmartBook automatically calculating GST and displaying the appropriate details for the type of transaction entered. eg When you enter an expense you will only have to choose from the relevant expense accounts and payees. You can also enter basic payroll transactions and have the values automatically transferred to the cash book and even enter general ledger journals for non cash items such as depreciation and loan interest.
You won't need to be an accountant to use the GST SmartBook as it is so easy to use and has a
number of different methods of providing assistance. You can access Task based help for simple operations, 'How Do I?' help on each page, extended help on all topics, intelligent guessing of data entry and wizards for more complex tasks.

Unzip the program using a utility such as Winzip®.
Double click the Setup.exe file to install the software.
Click the Windows Start button > Programs > Brightspark > GST SmartBook.
